Hand painted acrylic on antique cabinet cards. These are all one of a kind. Each card measures approx 4 x 6 and comes mounted on a 5 x 7 mat with a sturdy cardboard back. Each one is also signed and comes packaged in a protective sleeve.

Cabinet cards are a type of photography used in the late 1800s up until the early 1900s, meaning each one of the cabinet cards used is at least 100 years old. They are easier to paint than modern photographs due to the heavy cardstock they were printed on. Due to the age of these cards, you can expect variations such as handwriting on the back, small blemishes, signs of age wear, and sometimes trimming done presumably to make them fit into albums. Some also have fancy printed backs or embellishments on the front bottom of the card.
